Hand-chosen from Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers? enviable collection of mature single malt Scotch Whiskies, the PX edition takes its name from the Oloroso and PX Sherry hogsheads and butts in which it reached maturation. Pedigree and Perthshire
Old Perth whisky has been held in high esteem since the middle of last century, thanks to its high malt content and inclusion of one of the most prestigious sherried single malt whiskies in the world. More recently, the Morrisons (one of Scotland?s oldest whisky families), purchased the brand, using a small selection of distilleries in the Speyside region to source their mature single malt. Using a vatting and marrying process at the facility in Aberargie, Perthshire, the whisky is completed in the highest quality of wood ? the family?s heritage gaining them access to especially unique and exceptional casks from pedigree distilleries across Scotland.
