Dezeen named editorial brand of the year by the International Building Press

Dezeen has been named editorial brand of the year for its "compelling content" and "hugely impressive" audience engagement at the annual journalism awards organised by the International Building Press.
The judges also praised Dezeen's website and the quality of the magazine's brand collaborations over the past 12 months.
"It's challenging to partner with a company and still create compelling content, but that's exactly what the winning publication did on multiple occasions in incredibly difficult commercial circumstances," the International Building Press (IBP) judges said.
"On top of this, the title's website is really well-designed and makes for a great user experience, the content is often excellent and audience engagement is hugely impressive." Dezeen's co-CEO Benedict Hobson collected the award at a ceremony in London on Friday alongside features editor Nat Barker, assistant editors Jennifer Hahn and Lizzie Crook, and editorial assistant James Parkes, who were each also nominated for their writing in other categories.
The trophy was presented by IBP chair Harriett Hindmarsh and journalist David Bond, who is currently deputy political editor at the Evening Standard.
